1️⃣ Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the LittleReads website (littlereads.in), placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2️⃣ Account Registration

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account and make purchases
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• One person may not maintain more than one account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

3️⃣ Products & Pricing

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice
• Product images are for illustration purposes — actual product may vary slightly
• We make every effort to display accurate stock availability but cannot guarantee it
• In case of pricing errors, we reserve the right to cancel the affected orders and issue a full refund

4️⃣ Orders & Payment

Order confirmation

An order is considered confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel any order before dispatch for reasons including but not limited to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

Payment

• We accept UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, Wallets, and Cash on Delivery (COD)
• All online payments are processed securely by Razorpay
• COD orders require full payment to the delivery person at the time of delivery
• We reserve the right to discontinue COD for specific locations or orders

5️⃣ Shipping & Delivery

• We ship across India. Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days
• Free shipping on orders above ₹499. A ₹49 shipping fee applies below this
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays or regional conditions
• We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses provided by customers
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the shipping address

6️⃣ Returns & Refunds

Please refer to our Refund & Return Policy for complete details. In summary:

• Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for damaged or incorrect items
• Books must be unused and in original condition
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item

7️⃣ Intellectual Property

All content on the LittleReads website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of LittleReads or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian copyright law.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the website without our express written permission.

8️⃣ Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website
• Submit false or misleading information
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from our website
• Interfere with the security or proper working of the website

9️⃣ Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LittleReads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or purchase of products.

Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question.

🔟 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
